Scott Ward is a research botanist with the Flora of the Southeastern United States project (fsus.ncbg.unc.edu) located at the North Carolina Botanical Garden. Scott has botanized in eastern North America from Canada to The Florida Keys and currently enjoys the plant life that the Durham area affords. In his current position, Scott writes dichotomous keys, teaches specialized botanical courses, annotates and researches specimens in the UNC-Chapel Hill Herbarium (NCU) and helps to compile photos and descriptions for the many thousands of southeastern plants covered in the Flora.
