Forest Service Career Workshop. September 26, 2023

In conjunction with the Stewardship in Action Field Workshop, the USDA Forest Service will host a career workshop at the Santa Claran Resort & Casino, Tuesday, September 26, 2023 (see agenda below).

The career workshop will primarily focus on entry level, early career, and internship positions; however, USDA Forest Service staff will be happy to answer all questions and provide information about applying for positions across the agency.

Students from surrounding tribal colleges, colleges, and universities are welcome to participate. 

There is no cost to participate, but an RSVP is required

What is a Career Workshop?

The career workshop will introduce participants to the Forest Service and careers with the agency. Participants will learn the basic skills to write a federal resume, understand USA Jobs, and explore job opportunities in Natural Resources Management, General Physical Science, Social Science, and GIS across the US and worldwide. Job vacancies in these career fields will be shared during the workshop. Attendees are also be invited to interact and network with natural resource management professionals from various organizations.
