After a year-long adventure of teaching English in South Korea, Stacey returned to Oregon State to receive her M.S. in the Forest Ecosystems and Society Department at the College of Forestry. She graduated with a focus on the human perceptions of fire with a special emphasis on the public perceptions of smoke from wildland and prescribed fire. Stacey is originally from Redmond, Oregon and enjoys almost any activity that takes place outside, whether that is the peace of a backyard garden or an arduous adventure in the wilderness.
