Renee Boronka is the Manager of Conservation Education & Outreach at the Western Reserve Land Conservancy (WRLC). In her role she is expanding upon current programs, as well as creating new nature-based learning opportunities for people of all ages. Prior to joining the team of WRLC, Renee spent twenty-five years with the Cleveland Museum of Natural History directing their Natural Areas Program. She managed a system of nature preserves totaling 12,000 acres in conservation. Renee is passionate about connecting people with nature through a variety of programs from field trips to workshops/symposia to special events. She enjoys weaving nature education into all aspects of programming, firmly believing that a deep understand of our natural world leads to a lifelong commitment to its protection.
