Open Access Journal Article for April

For each issue of the Journal, the editor chooses one article to offer to non-members as open access. 

We do this as a way of inviting non-members and subscribers to get a taste of what our flagship publication is all about - and what kind of quality, timely information we offer to natural areas practitioners.

April's open access article is "Environmental Correlates to Population Structure and Health of the Rare Piratebush (Buckleya distichophylla) within Poor Mountain Natural Area Preserve, Virginia" by Ryan Huish of The University of Virginia's College at Wise and Ryan Klopf of the Virginia Natural Heritage Program.
