Have You Submitted to the Journal Lately?
With our PeerTrack system up and running, manuscript turnaround is faster than ever – and the
Journal is the premier publication for natural areas practitioners. While other publications may come and go – or lack the stringency of peer review – the
Journal has delivered cutting-edge information for the community of natural areas professionals since its inception in 1981.
We welcome a wide variety of submissions, including
Research Articles, Research Notes, Conservation Issues articles, and
Book Reviews. We also offer the opportunity to submit
– or be interviewed for - Stewardship in Action articles.
Stewardship in Action articles are short communications (3,000 words or fewer), reviewed by the Editorial Board, that describe timely, on-the-ground techniques and equipment, research in progress and innovative management practices. We know that natural areas practitioners are very busy, so if you have a great story but no time in which to write it, get in touch. We can assign a writer who will interview you and write your Stewardship in Action topic!
