The Journal Now Uses the PeerTrack System
We announced a few months ago that the
Natural Areas Journal staff had started using the PeerTrack abstract management system, a publishing industry tool that will enable the
Journal to streamline the peer approval process for all types of manuscripts. This will shorten the interval between submission and publication, allowing those who submit to see their accepted contributions in print more quickly, and get emerging information into the community faster.
We are working on other innovations so that the
Natural Areas Journal can continue to evolve and meet the needs of our members and the natural areas community. We’ll be rolling out those changes in the coming months, so watch for them in your email.
If you have suggestions for us to improve the
Journal, we want to hear from you. Let us know by dropping our Communications Coordinator,
Kate Angell, an email.
