I received my Bachelors in Soil Science from New Mexico State University, Las Cruces, New Mexico. In October, 2022, I accepted my current position as the Watershed Specialist for the Post Wildfire Recovery Program with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, National Interagency Fire Center. Prior to working with BIA, I worked 17th years as a Soil Scientist with the U.S. Forest Service in Region 3. I worked on the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests, Arizona and the Lincoln National Forest, New Mexico.
