Tracy Evans

Board Member

Tracy Rene Evans is currently a Research Associate at the Illinois State Museum Research and Collections Center, and she serves on the Illinois Endangered Species Protection Board and the Natural Areas Evaluation Committee for the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. Previously she was a biologist for the Illinois Department of Natural Resources in various capacities, including environmental and wetlands review. She also served as editor of Erigenia, the peer review journal of the Illinois Native Plant Society. Tracey earned a B.S. in Biology at Blackburn College, completed a Zoology M.S. at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, and obtained her Ph.D. from Leiden University in the Netherlands with a focus on Management Implications for Invertebrate Assemblages in the Midwest American Agricultural Landscape.
