Roger McCoy

NAA Board President 

Roger McCoy is the director of the Tennessee Division of Natural Areas , the state agency that manages designated state natural areas, evaluates lands for state natural areas and parks designation, and leads rare plant recovery. He conducts community classification and research on the status of threatened and endangered plants in Tennessee and he has worked with the Division since 1998. He earned a B.A. in Biology and a M.S. in Plant Biology at Southern Illinois University.
